  • expired gear...

Ok guys i just finished PCT for my last cycle and i know the general rule of thumb is time on should equal time off before starting another cycle, but the thing is i have 30 ml's left of deca 200 and it expires in June!!! so would it be a better idea to jump back on the AAS wagon before my body has fully recovered from its last cycle or should i just wait and use expired gear?

It is not as if the gear no longer works on the exact "expiration date." It simply begins to become less potent. Accordingly, whether you wait an extra month won't be noticeable to the gear, but might be noticable to your own body's recovery. Wait and use it when you are ready for it, not just because it is about to "expire."

It's good for at least a year after the exp date.

If by chance you got this through one of the many of the reputable compounding pharmacies, they by law can only put an expire date no longer than 6 months, however, I have spoken with people at these pharmacies and they assure me, off the record, the stuff is good for at least a year beyond the expiration date. here i worte this for someone a while ago

in australia the general guidelines for the application of expiry dates on drugs is either of 3 things: 1) 10% of the active drug has decomposed, or 2) a certain byproduct (toxic) of the drug decomposition has reached a certain (arbitrary) level, or 3) the formulation of the product is compromised, clumping, discolorations etc etc

you also get drug manufacturers putting expiry dates on drugs just to stop people from hoarding them (some drugs last aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages, eg cough syrup ad many tabs, but to make you buy more and to stop you from keeping them until the year 2020)

now, as for your deca, look up where it was made and look at their expitry date guidelines. chances are, though, that a country sophisticated enough to make deca will have standards similar to australia, so you should be fine.

one last thing- look at the manufacture date. a drug that has a shelf life of 1 month which is 3 months out of date is a far worse thing to use than a drug which has a shelf life of 20 years which expired more than a year ago....im sure you get the picture
