  • O/T Injecting w 18g 1.5" Pin

I accedently gave a friend some 18g replacement pins and he injected with one of them!!!!! He said it hurt pretty bad...lol. Has anyone else used a pin that big? I just though I'd share the incident with everyone.

Holy crap--I use that size pin to draw suspesion. OUCH!!!

Normally I would use a 25g pin for everything .

Wow, might as well have used a turkey basting syringe-OUCH!! There is no reason that a 25ga. 1" pin can't be used for the quads, Maybe 5/8 for tri's and delts. If you have a fatt butt, maybe 1-1/2" for glutes. If you're fairly low in b/f though 1" is fine there too. Load up with a 22 ga., but inject with the smaller pin. It takes longer to inject, but I think that's a plus, keeps me from injecting too fast and getting a knot. BB

Yeah, I know what size pins to use. It was just a mistake. I just couldn't believe my friend shot with it...lol. I've never heard of anyone using a pin that big.

Yes, I have, its not really as bad as everyone thinks, but if you have dense muscle fibers it makes the shot easier
