  • Just drained a lovely abcess

I thought it was the high concentration of the gear and the BA, making the site inflammed, but it just felt too odd for that. For safety sake, I inserted a 21g, and as soon as I pulled back, it immdeaitly started drawing out blood and oil, almost 5cc worth

There is still a lil more in there, I'll get back to work after a stiff drink

LOL, this is probably the 5th one in my span of use that I have done myself.

This was easier than others as this was deeper into the muscle, rather than sitting closer to the skin, I probably injected into an area with a lot of scar tissue built up, and it caused the build of up of the blodd and ceased the oil from settling in

in other cases, I rushed shots, and the oil never made it deep enough into the muscle and just hovered in limbo, and then that becomes a rasied abcess, those have to be drained, and irrogated with bacteriostaic water, and benzoyl alcohol, to kill any bacteria floating around

5cc's... so do you re-filter the drainage and recycle the gear? :D

If it was just oil I might have thought about it, but this was the combo package, 2 forms of gook, rolled into one mess

I think this might not be too good, I drained it again after posting this. And it seems to be filling again, gonna have to have this looked at, I might have ruptured something in the muscle and its bleeding internally....figures

So you just re-inject into site and withdraw until you feel pain or what? Or until you pull air/ how do you know when to stop?

depending on where and how deep the abcess is, depends on how you drain and clean it

this being a deep tissue abcess, had to be full drained of all oil and build up, blood and what not, the bacteriostatic water is used to flush anymore shit that still stagnant in there, its injected, and left for about 30 seconds, and the you re insert exactly where you just injected, and pull back, till the syringe stops filling up. Also with deep tissue abcesses, you will have to slide the needle to different depths, as the build up is in layers

I pulled a total of about 13cc of blood and oil over 2 days, it went down on its own, and Im on antibiotics all seems well

I wont be using that delt for a long time
