Diabetics also have cards that state they are diabetics if they are injecting...in order to get pins the have to present them. So you might be posed with the problem of presenting the card. Just a thought.Originally posted by buyb12

Your wrong. Been there done that. The detectors can pick them up...Originally posted by stonecold54
in that case I would think a single syringe which has hardly any metal on it would make it through.
The best advice I can give anyone stuck in this situation is.
1. Don't carry any gear or rigs in your carry on. They breakdown all carryon and will be suspicious, if you have diabetes, go ahead just pack it with your insulin and your other pins.
2. As buyb12 stated, buy a insulin travel organiser .....and pack it in your luggage that's going to be stored in the cargo hold. Unless of course you actually need your insulin or some shit.
Honestly, I wouldn't give a fuck and I'd pack it with my bathroom items and my razors and stuff and put it in my suitcase. This wouldn't pose a problem to anyone, considering its going under the plane. They will do a check and make sure there aren't any bigger metal items in there, such as guns and stuff. Knives and nail files and clippers can be bagged in luggage, just not carry-on, although its not advised because sometimes they will look in your bag if you have a big fuckin' knife in your shit. Good luck.
