Clomid AND Nolva or just one?

:mad: Another rookie kinda question.

I been reading gear profiles and getting cycle advice from guys, but they don't always coincide.

Got advice to take Clomid And Nolvadex near end of cycle. But aren't these two essentially the same? Just read..."Nolvadex is very comparable to Clomid, behaves in the same manner in all tissues, and is a mixed estrogen agonist/antagonist of the same type as Clomid. The two molecules are also very similar in structure."

Why throw both in, other than you have some layin around?

yes they are similar as they are anti-estrogens, yet nolva is usually prefered over clomid.

iv read that using both at the end of a cycle is very benefical but i cant find a link at the moment.

Times must be changing or something because for years all I read was keep nolva. on hand in case of signs of gyno and people always used clomid post cycle. Personally that's what I've always done and it's always worked. As far as the acne, I noticed that when I run Arimidex through clomid therapy the acne isn't as bad. If someone can find some facts for nolva. acting as a better recovery drug than clomid then please post them. Until then I'll be sticking with what I know works.

i've used em both seperately and together and i personally didn't recover any better from using em together as i did with just one or the other

I use both for PCT, and it's worked great. 20mg/day Nolvadex alongside my Clomid.

Do tsill from load the Clomid if takeing both?

Here what I was planing for PCT but now I'm wondering if I need to front load the clomid since I'm going to run Nolva with it.

D1 Clomid 300mg / Nolva 40mg
D 2-7 Clomid 100mg / Nolva 20mg
D8-21 Clomid 50mg / Nolva 20mg

I prefer just hcg the whole way threw with letro and tamoxifen for PCt......

this is exactly what i took same doseage as well worked good for me
except i went an extra week because i did a 12 week round of test/deca

Yep, I agree intim. . .I take nolva or clomid or stack the two and I always use prov when coming off. .keeps the johnston in order:)

I am not a big fan of the 300mg Clomid frontload on day 1 of PCT. Have done PCT with and without the frontload...it works equally well with or without. The only thing the frontload did was make me a miserable SOB (extremely depressed/anxious the next day).
