  • Sugar alcohols and insulin

Do you count sugar alcohols as carbs in your insulin dosage ? I know the body suppsoedly does not process them like carbs however i got to believe they are still recognized as some sort of glucose and therfor there has to be some compensation for them.

Any expert care to prove me wrong or right or enlighten me.

try it and see if you start to go hypo from just sugar alcohols. just make sure you have a big gatorade if you do.
