keep a good diet and back off on the volume of your workouts (not the intensity). novaldex will be good for you. creatine as well. take no more than 5 grams a day of the creatine otherwise you will just be pissing the extra out.

I was saying to keep the intensity high but drop the total volume (sets and exercises). your body can't handle as much work when you are "off".

Very true and also keep in mind that your joints have been use to the AS and you may start to experience some joint pain while coming off. Actually, right around your 2nd of 3rd week you should.

              Cheers!

I sorta have a question to this (not because im on or am going to just wondering):
If your use to train 5 days per week clean, and done that with a high volumen for long time. Lets say a guy choose to do AAS and continues 5 days per week with same high workload and gets good gains. Here Ive read like stonecold says that after cycle you should step down the volume and remain intensity. Does that mean, he can still workout 5 days or would it be better to go even lower as he were before his cycle?
I guess this should only be temporary with normal progression and volume you should be up in normal volume etc after some weeks?

this always starts a debate but I don't believe anyone needs to weight train more than three days a week whether on or off. I only do 2 days a week while on at the most and when i am off it is more like a workout every 3-4 days. but no matter what you do reduce the volume of the workouts you are doing because otherwise overtraining will take over quickly.

Stone ? I train 6 days a week but i only do 1 muscle group a day I feel i have more energy and push more everyday than doing a few muscle groups in one day and not push, but to each his own. I use to do 2 per day but felt that once i got to my second muscle group i was already tired and gave up easier....

well you have to remember that your body has two types of overtraining. local and systematic. local would be when you overtrain a muscle too much. systematic (or GAS-general adaptive syndrome) is worse and can sneak up on you. every time your body has a stressful event in its life whether lifting or someone breaking in your house, your body goes through the same reaction chemically. it takes awhile for your body to normalize after that depending on how long the stressor is in place. now most guys workout for an average of about 45min to an hour a day. that is a big stressor to overcome. your body does not normalize for about 2-3 days after that (read The Stress of Life- for the research on it). so if you continue to workout day after day you may not feel it but your body is not in an optimal muscle gaining mode. your endocrine system is getting worn out and is constantly pumping out catabolic hormomones that aren't given time to clear with constant workouts. Steroids will only delay or mask the signs of overtraining for so long. That is why on cycle I recommend no more than 3 a week for working out and no more than 40 minutes per workout. most of mine are only 20-30 minutes. off cycle I usually go to a workout every 3-5 days depending on how I am feeling.

well you can read more about it in my Training posts but for example one of my upper body workouts will look like this

1 set of Flat bench flyes
                            2 sets of weighted Dips
1 set of uni-lateral side laterals
                            1 set of uni-lateral pushdowns
                            1 set of shrugs

each set is taken to momentary musclular failure, with no bouncing, jerking or momentum involved. each set is between 45 and 90 seconds in length or TUT-time under tension. then 3-5 days later I will do a workout for back and biceps and the 3-5 days later a workout for legs and then repeat so then minimum time between the same bodypart being worked is almost 2 weeks and the max is like 3 weeks.

wow you must have good genetics to grow with a workout like that, I wish i could do it. A few years back i use to do 2 groups a day and noticed that i wasnt growing so much so i went to this method of 1 a day with abs , and its actualy working good so.... but bro If that would work for me I would be all over it but im 100% that it wouldnt.
