  • ? about AAS use and bone healing??

I just recently got surgery. I had to get some plaster that turns into bone put on my skull from a fail bone graph.

My dr. wont even discuss AAS with me at all. So my question is, does anyone have info or a answer to......If I get on a cycle in about 4-6 months from now will it affect the healing of what I had done? I know this is off the wall, but I want to be safe.

I guess what Im asking is, do steroids affect the healing of a broken bone, which is basically what I had.

It won't affect the healing. I was on cycle and stress fractured my lower arm doing heavy curls. I didn't know what it was, but put off the pain for over a month and finally broke down and went to the doc. He said it was fractured but that it had already healed 75% so I should just take some Piroxicam(prescription inflammatory) and it would heal within a week of pain... and he was right. So based on that, I'd say you'll be fine... just my opinion though

Since test is good for bone mass and injury recovery, wouldn't that help the bones to heal back faster?

from what i've read in the above two post... could you also assume that by drinking more milk, your bones would heal faster?

by that statement alone... i wouldn't want to take ANY risks with your health at this point. the research just isn't there to conclude one way or the other. i would personally choose to stay away from AS until i was healed. i wouldn't even consider it for a second.

Can't drink milk, Im lactose intolerant.

Ok, the plaster stuff takes FIVE years to turn into bone, but I can work out and do cardio in 6 weeks. Just cant do contact sports for chance of cracking the stuff.

I had surgery once already to correct this but it was bone graph, not the plaster. And like 5 months afterwards I started a cycle.

I know for a fact that the gear isnt the reason I had to have another surgery on the area, the reason for it was due to a infection that I had b4 the cycle.

actually milk is a terrible source of bio-available calcium for adults. eat dark green leafy vegetables instead. the milk industry has brain-fucked everyone into thinking that milk "Does a body good". Forget that stuff and just eat lots of raw or steamed vegetables.

there are plenty more ways to take in calcium.

i was curious if you asked your doctor what s/he thinks? i would even go soo far as to suggest seeking the advice of an endocrionologist. we're talking about your skull here.

I tried talking to him about this stuff, but he is against it. He was even sayin how whey mix is bad for us all ( not saying he said whey is bad for me)
