I've been on for 8 days. You cannot judge my phyique by user standards. And yes, i have been eating 6-9 meals w/ that much protein. For the past 8 months i have been eating 5000 calories, and I put on 3 pounds.

If you have been eating 5000 cals/day for 8 months and have only put on 3 lbs., then there is at least a decent chance that there is some other underlying physical issue/s here. Very few humans, including most body builders are genetically, or metabolically capable of consuming that amount of calories per day, for this amount of time, without at least moderate weight gain IMO.

It is possible the guy just started with a very small amount of muscle mass. It is a knee-jerk response when an experienced AS user sees what looks to him to be an inexperienced lifter begin to explore steriods, however the starting point of the individual in question is never known.

I knew a dude in High School who lifted for 6 years, I came back on break from college to notice that he made progress, but the progress had halted. He told me he wanted to look into steroids and I told him to do his research and go for it. This guy began lifting at 6'2 120 (thats not a typo) and he ended up before AS at 160, which still looked SUPRE skinny.

you can feed a mucsle period, if your body is nturally ectomorphic you just have to eat more, more more more.

if you lift for 6 years and you eat like a girl, you're gonna look like a girl.

Titan - no one is flaming you - more like looking out for you. you say you are consuming 5000 cals a day - why don't you list us a sample of your diet.

Very often, we THINK we are getting more than we actually do (or less). i would HIGHLY recommend starting a Journal on FITDAY.COM and tracking your eating.

IMO, theres no point in telling him he should or shouldnt be doing the sauce. Obviously he is doing it and im sure that your not going to persuay him away from it. He has his mind made up. Rather then tell him he shouldnt be doin it, why not just give him some advice/info on the subject of gyno.

Seriously, Dude. You need a foundation first before you cheat yourself of natural potential.

Read carefully before making a statement. The 1st several replies address his gyno issue, and also hopefully diminish some of his fear that he is growing man tits.

There is no way he is eating like that and only gained 3 lbs. Hell I have a very fast metabolism and I put on 20 lbs in like 8 months cause I ate right.

Well, I wasn't going to get involved again....BUUUUUUUT....I will!

We are trying to get a point across. No one can eat 5000 cals and only gain 3lbs. Not to mention, you are skin and bones. I have crappy genetics. Alot of guys who know me, even on the boards, know that. When I started lifting, I was 158lbs at 6'2''. I started eating like an animal. The key is to eat like an animal EVERY DAY!! Not just every other day or when you have time. I got up to 196lbs in 8 or 10 months and every day I thought I was going to puke from eating. My BF was up by 4% too, but I didn't care, I WAS GAINING!!

Things tapered from there. Once I hit that 200 mark, it was a bitch. The only weight I could gain was fat. I struggled with my diet and training. I even started cardio and still couldn't gain. It took me another year to gain 10lbs or muscle and get my BF under control.

You see, I have shit genetics, but that doesn't mean I can't gain. What is a hard gainer? Well, it's just someone that needs to try harder than the next guy and the feeling of acheivment is much greater.

I think you really need to go ahead and show us your log book of all the meals you are eating every day for the next month. .I am not kidding around; many guys (including myself in the past) have been guilty of thinking they are eating way more than they really are. .eating 5k one day of the week and then eating 2000 for 3 days etc. is not enough. . .I don't care how fast your metabolism is 5000k per day = gaining weight. . .I have the fastest metab on the planet ( one day I will post some REAL before pics before I geared up) and I thought I had reached a plateu until I met my good friend Pete watson who was a national level cometitor and he said " eat this " and made sure he dropped into the gym I worked at to see if I had eaten everything each day. . .needless to say I slapped on 10 lb solid in less than a month and a half. . .pretty good seeing as I had not gained weigth for 2.5 years. . .
anyway, this is turning into a bible sized post. . .
                              :)

I know and will admit that I don't know as much about taking AS, as you guys do...BUT the before and after pics, man, I can tell a big difference. I'm on my first cycle right now and can tell you, that right or wrong, just seeing the difference it made with the dude, would make me consider gearing up, time and time again. Most amatuers, me included would love to see gains like this in a short amount of time. I don't understand why it is looked at as so wrong to use AS, if you haven't trained for 5 years.
Rock on dude, I say go for it, you look 10 times better already!
