  • HCG and Acne

I did a search and found that other people have had increased acne while using HCG. I'm doing 1000iu/week while on cycle and I'm starting to break out like crazy on my chest and back. Anyone know how to treat or prevent the acne?

I had a problem w/ tribulus and 6-oxo breaking me out bad during PCT... strange since on cycle I had no acne. But the best way I found was to use bar soap and water to wash in the morning. Use bar soap and water at night as well, followed by some kind of astringent like Sea Breeze or something. That seemed to clear me right up, but it did make my skin super dry

I was on Accutane for 5 months @ 20mg / day prior to this cycle I just started monday. My doc wants to keep on me on for another month, so I cut back to taking my accutane every other day. I don't advise you doing this but it's what I've been doing since my winter cycle in Jan - Feb and I've had all of 5 pimples since I started taking accutane. I have a history of moderate acne as is, and gear ALWAYS made is 2x as bad, especially on my shoulders and back... I'm clear as can be right now...

Try using Neutrogena Ance Body Wash in the morning and night followed by a good astringent (night time only)... see if perhaps your doctor will prescribe you Retin-A Micro .02% (topical form of Accutane).

Do a search on vitamin B5 ( http://www.b5supplements.com/ ).. supposedly large dosages of if has the same affect as Accutane does minus the side effects.
