  • Newbie Question

    I'm new to these forums (which are pretty informative) and new to pretty much supplements in general. During college I messed around with creatine, Andro, HMB, etc. Nothing very serious. I had decent results. I was a distance runner so being able to do what I did was pretty impressive.

    I've been out of the weight room for close to 3 years when I decided to go back about 2 months ago. I realized that everything that I had years ago had gone to nothing. I decided to get an advantage. I just finished my first 30 days with Methyl-D and can't say I got the results that I wanted. I gained 10 lbs and lost around an inch on my waist but I didn't get any noticeable strength gains (nothing more than what a newbie should have). I'll be off the Methyl-D for 30 days (taking Novedex) and then I'll do Methyl-D for 30 more with 2 caplets a day (can't stand to waste the $ even though I can't say the product is doing anything that I thought it would). I'll do 30 days more of Novedex and then I have some M-1-T that I got from powernutrition.net. I also got some 6-OXO and some Milk Thistle Extract. I understand that I take all 3 of those together but what do I do post cycle? I would have thought to continue 6-OXO or Novedex but 6-OXO shouldn't be used for more than 4 - 6 weeks. Help?!?!?!?!?

    You don't really need to take the 6-OXO during cycle. This is mostly used in PCT. I would suggest using nolvadex PCT. I am currently in a cycle of M1t. Use 4-ad during cycle instead of the 6-OXO to help with lethargy. I know it's too late now, but did you evere think of getting your diet in order and such and not "cheat"?

      first of all 10lbs and losing a inch off your waist? If that's not a sign of a good product I dunno what is. That aside you want to take it easy on all the orals bro, you're going 30 days on 30 days off on orals that are toxic to your liver. Take a break after you finish your methyl d before you go into m1t run your nolvadex proper PCT. As far as your milk thistcle you should run that with methyl d and m1t both are methylized both are hard on your liver.

        3 years and only two months back on. Basically you are starting from scratch man. Your muscles may still have some memory in them but it's going to take alot of work to get back to where you were. How long did you lift before you stopped and about what were your gains or stats? You probably are going to have to rebuild your base.

          You should have trained natural for a lot longer than 2 months before supplementing with anything more than creatine and tribulis. But, since that bridge is crossed, you'll have to just be careful not to up your weights too much too soon; remember that muscles get conditioned far more quickly than tendons do...and that can lead to injuries.
