  • Steroids on TV. Watch!

They are doing a story on the dangers of steroids and also about the boy who died. Some of you may remember his father on here posting about 5-6 months ago. Here is the story, set your Tivo!

The show will be on the foxnews channel. Check local listings.

Breaking Point: The Truth About Steroids

    Sunday, June 20 at 9 p.m ET and 12 a.m. ET
    Hosted by Brian Kilmeade

There have been a lot of stories about steroids in the news recently; most of them involve the controversy swirling around professional athletes.

But this "Breaking Point" investigation uncovered another side to the story that is far more troubling...

There are now about three million Americans taking steroids. Between 500,000 and one million of them are teenagers.

The downside goes well beyond cheating. In fact — for some families — it's become a matter of life and death.

The abuse of steroids is also moving beyond athletics. Many of the boys and girls taking these drugs are trying to achieve what they believe are perfect bodies.

Since steroids are illegal without a doctor’s prescription, how are they getting them?

"Breaking Point" went undercover to find out...

"The Truth About Steroids" is another in an important series of investigative documentaries brought to you by the staff of the Fox News Channel. Don't miss it!

Its like a comedy listening to these news specials. the amount of misinformation they put out is crazy. its funny how steroids are at the top of the news papers but the 3 police officers that were killed yesterday are all tucked away in the back of the paper. i would like to see the amount of death and injury steroids cause compared to alcohal and tabacoo. i bet it would be real close. lol. what a fucking joke. we have soldiers risking there lives in a different country and the media wants to talk about steroids. this country truely has its head in its ass.

The true difference imho is tobacco companys and alcohol companies have lobbyists and are taxable income for the government. They could care less if crack were legal as long as they got there cut and got re-elected.

They wouldn't know any truth about steroids if it jumped up and bit them on the ass. These shows piss me off everytime they come on.

                Here is a question though..

if you could create a show in support of AAS or at least one that debates and contradicts what shows like these portray and explain about AAS....

                would you?

Granted to people like us it may make perfect sense but I could also see a show like that having an even further negative affect on AAS. I would imagine it would get more stupid people into the AAS community, however they'd be even more naive and idiotic then the people are currently in the game and giving all of us a bad name..

                You catch my drift?

You got that right, Pudgy! Don't forget that the politicians/government regulators who get that stuff passed also eventually get offered jobs working for the interests they served while in office. For them it's no money = no voice in government. They all suck. :madfu:

Quite the contrary FOX news is way far right they are in Bush's back pocket I am sure it is a Bush sanctioned attack to cover his new agenda, ridding the world of the evil steroids since he couldn't do shit with Al Quaida.

My liberal media statement was gear towards BOUNCER's statement not FOX news.

The rest of this comment I won't even bother with on this board.

                          :)

You would need a huge backing by medical professionals and most of them would not back you simply because it would hurt their careers in alot of cases. There has to be something in it for them.

We need to parachute John Kerry wearing his helmet and flak jacket that he wears in that staged Vietnam pic into Afghanistan to take care of Al Quieda.
