Something i was thinking about, may sound stupid to some.
So if myostatin is what limits muscle growth, and he doesnt have this gene, do you think that Myostatin Blockers work or help in anyway at all!?

On a similar note, I think that these types of issues raise a question of morality if doctors start manipulating chromosones in newborns or even in-vitro. Certainly gene therapy could be a useful tool with regard to human health and wellbeing but then you must consider that genetic engineering with humans (or any animal) is a dangerous thing to get involved in but that's just my opinion. It could start out as well intended such as screening and remedial actions to prevent disabilities or genetic predispositions of embryos to certain illnesses later in life but inevitably, it would become almost like ordering options on a new car from the factory. At some point, perspective parents may be able to custom order a child to their specifications, eg., blonde hair, brunette, tall, blue eyes, etc... That sort of thing could get out of control quickly. Genetic therapy or engineering and even cloning takes humans past the intended designs of nature. Tell me that no one group or a government out there ever attempted cloning a human being. I somehow doubt that. That is a scary thought.

I dunno about this one. Everybody seems to think pro's have some kind of "secret stuff" because they are bigger than us all. Nobody wants to accept the fact that they might just have better dedication, pain threshhold, learn and know more, or just plain have way better genetics than 90% of the population. They are in this sport for a reason, and its not cause they have all these secrets nobody knows about.

They can already breed the gene out of animals (if anyone remembers those cow and mouse pictures that floated around for awhile). Humans won't be to far away for this type of therapy. Also it was thought that Pro bodybuilders already have this type of genetics with a low myostatin count that gives them the ability to have growth beyond normal means (which means all the drugs aren't necessary, or not as much anyway, LOL).
Not strictly true, if his heart muscle starts growing with no limits, then he will have left ventricular hypertrophy, which usually just precedes heart failure if it spirals out of control.
