  • Getting different first cycle advice!

    I keep getting different opinions everywhere! I honestly want the real deal mods or vets to help me.

    On a spanish board, a few mods told me not to do a MONOCYCLE which is just one substance. I told them if test en for 10 weeks alone would be good and they said it wouldnt be enough, that i should add deca and dbol with the test en.

    And lots of people on this site tell me its best to use just test for a first cycle.

    Whats the deal?

    Been training for 2 years, 160lb, around 5'8

    have done 1 ad for 4 weeks, m1t for 2, 2 week cycles. at max of 15mg.

    First off, nobody should tell you what cycle to do unless you tell them your goals and other info about yourself, i.e. height,weight,training exp. bf%,etc....you will get different opinions bc everybody reacts differently to gear and therefore their choices will vary. With that being said alot of people start off with test as a base either enath. prop or cyp. After that is where the opinions (on other compounds) will come in depending on your goals and the way your body composition is now.

      Im sorry i didnt state my goals, but i want tremendous strength gains and a lot of lean mass!

        Test only makes a great first cycle looking for mass. It gives the person experience without comprimsing health much and good gains. I used 600mg of test for 10 weeks on my first cycle and I was happy.

        "Trememendous" amounts of muscle comes with time. What's your age? I gained about 16-18lbs of muscle on my cycles and lose about 2 or 3 when i come off.

          hmm, i hope test only would be sufficent.

            at 160# i would go with no more than 500mg of a long ester test wk. if you want strength to go up even more and you can afford it stack some anavar at 40mg ed for 6-8 weeks. another common newbie cycle is stack test with d-bol at 30mg ed for the first 4-5 weeks. use liquidex to keep the bloat down from the test and the dbol. the d-bol will increase strength in a big way but you will probably get some water retention even with an anti E which you can loose quickly. everybody will give you differnet advice you have to have done your research and know which advice you feel will suit you best. all of it may be right because it may be right for the person giving it.

              I'd personally go with a long ester Test only. I'd save the dbol until a second cycle. Dbol is a lot more harsher than Test obviously, so why not see how your body reacts with the Test.

              500mg/week is perfect for a first timer. That was my cycle.

                Depending on your goals of course, i just feel that your 1st cycle is your best, and if you want to get to a certain size than take advantage of it. Im not saying go huge, but something like this is nice:

                Weeks 1-4 Dbol 30mg/day
                Weeks 1-12 Test Cyp. or enath. 4-500mg/wk
                Weeks 1-12 EQ 400mg/week
                And of course proper PCT following.

                Like i said others will disagree and say you do not need all that on your 1st cycle.

                  At a 160 lbs I'd say get your diet in check first. You shold be able to naturally put on 10-15 pounds from deit alone.

                    you have been training for 2 years and your 160lbs? what weight did you start at? and how old are you? things like these can help. you might not even need to use gear yet. like chadd77 said your diet might need to be better.

                      i started at 120 2 years ago so yea i gained 40lbs naturally in 2 years, i dont think thats too bad. my diet is pretty good, you probably are right about diet in a way.

                      any other advice?

                        I like the idea of a test-only cycle with 20mg/day D-bol for the first 25 days to get things started.

                          So if you gained 40 lbs. naturally in 2 years (which i highly doubt) but if you did, than what makes you think you hit a stalemate. Why would you want to do steroids when you have gained 40 lbs. in 2 years?

I was a skinny little punk that simply got his diet in check and went from 158lbs to 196 with almost no problem. Yes, totally natural too. So why don't you keep the shit comments to yourself. You know what they say, jealousy is a mother f***er.

                              State your age.. . you have skipped around that question in every post ( or just forgot, it happens :) )
                              If you are into your 20's then I would say it is best to do a test only cycle of 500mg/week of enanthate or cyp for 12-16 weeks. If you are not yet 20 at least then just keep training and really make sure your diet and training are spot on.. .in most cases training and diet are lacking as much as we all like to think we are doing it perfectly.
                              YOur goals are a bit "wishy washy" for lack of a better description.. .we all want to get huge but you should have a specific aim; more like " I would like to gain 15lb over the 12 week cycle and maintain bodyfat levels"
