  • Bloody noses!

I have never gotten them as frequent as i'm getting them now.

I've done the same cycle before minus the anavar without many at all.

But now I get one just about everytime i blow my nose and everytime I hit my nose. They don't bleed alot and usually go away after about a minute or so of pressure on the bridge.

Right now i'm at week 4

    prop 1 -4 100mg EOD
    Var 1- 8 30mg ED
    Test e 1 - 12 500mg wk

I realize that this is due to high blood pressure as a result of the AAS but I was wondering if anyone gets them as frequent as I am experiencing and if so what are you doing to at least help the situation? I'm sure my deviated septum doesn't help, but like I said, I rarely ever got them before I started this cycle.

i get them all the time on or off AAS the reason for me is cuzz my nose gets dried out from the heater air cond. ect. or just dehydrated(sp)? i use a saline spray to keep it moist or if it gets bad i use vaseline. i was also told by my doc not to blow my nose.

my father showed me that remedy of nasal spray restricting the blood vessels thus stopping the bloody nose.

my doc said thoes sprayes are temp. relife and do damage in the long run. what i meant was just saline for moisturizing. i get them do to my blood vessels are to close to the surface.

I had a problem with that. I had to go see a ear nose throat guy cause it was so bad. He had to cauterize it.

When I was younger I had more nose broken 5 times! (fighting and one baseball accident)

I've also had my nose cauterized 4 times as well.

When I was younger I used to get them often and heavy. But I guess I grew out of it or the last cauterization solved the problem.

I'm not worried, i'm sure it will subside after this cycle is over, I was just wondering if there was any quick fixes for the time being.

I don't know if it's a coincidence or what, but I just got a bloody nose, and I just started Prop yesterday.

Having high blood pressure doesn't help nose bleeds. And water retention often means higher BP. I usually get them for about a week before my body gets used to the extra weight.
