Swollen painfull lymph node

Ok I am a newbie, and just started my first cycle of fina homebrew. My brother made it, the third that he has done. He had great results from the first two. I noticed that compared to some other posts that it is some what dark and has some sediment in it. I recently went to the doctor because of a recent painful lymph node in my neck. he said most likely it's an infection and perscribed some antibiotics. I assume its because of the fina. I am wondering if I can just try and filter it again, that it might be ok? And also if any one has had the same side effect? I have noticed results and like them (except for the swollen lymph node) Have been stacking it with some Andriol. Thanks for your info in advance. attached is what the fina looks like.

1st off WHY IS THAT NOT IN A SEALED VIAL? Do not inject that as it is obously not sterile. Sterle vials are sealed for a reason. You need to refilter that into a sterile (new unopened sterile vial, check out the board sponsers) with a .2 micron whatman filter. If you don't know how to do this there is a step by step in the lab forum.

BTW, the fina should not look like that. I am betting that it was way over heated.. Filter.

A kit and fina is cheap compared to the health risks you could put yourself through. Swollen lymph nodes are almost a sure sign that something is infected. Heopfully it doesn't escalate.

That stuff looks like shit. Think "Golden brown". Not "sludge". LOL

Infections are generally localized, abcesses form, and have to be drained. What ur getting I really couldnt say if it is from the effects of the product your using, but Skye, is very correct that is HIGHLY UNSTERILE, and UNSAFE

And Ive never in my life, seen fina look like that.

Thanks for the advice. I am going to get a kit and do it myself. That way I know everything is done right.

You don't need a kit. you need (I guessing that is a 50ml vial in the picture) 1 50ml vial, 2 (always have a spare) .2 whatman, clean sealed needles and syringes. Check out the board sponsers. The fina in the picture looks like someone baked the hell out of it and still didn't get all the water out of it.

I think a .2 is for water based products. I think he should be using a .45 whatman filter.


Pick up a couple of sealed sterile 18 g pins, and some filters and do it yourself.

yeah, yeah, i know better now. I did the research and did tell my brother that it didn't look right, before I injected it, but, he said that it's normal not to worry about it. Of course he said he is using the same stuff and has not had any problems. I, again, appreciate all the information. I will not make this mistake again. Didn't mean for this to be such a stupid question. As I said, I am newbie to anabolics, and would of been more stupid to have not looked up more knowledge or not to of asked for information and just kept taking the tar.

No, I have no idea where you got that but a .2 whatman is far superior to a .45 for just about everthing except volume. And 18g pins tend to do too much damage to the ruber stoppers. a 20 is fine.
