You know I was reading the posts from all of you guys regarding the fella who had the swollen ass cheek from possibly a dirty spike. Like most of you, I never use the same dart twice. I'll actually even change the needle tip after loading for the shot to make sure I have the sharpest possible edge. But it seems like I have injected some crap cypionate here. I did this particular shot in my upper thigh. Everything was fine until two days later. The injection area began to swell and become red. Was very painful to touch let alone walk. Also the area was warm to the touch. A sure sign of an infection. With my needle precautions the way they are, there is no way it could have come from a dirty spike, but probably some bunk cyp. The funny thing is I got this bottle from a guy who is not my normal supplier - as he was out of stock at the time. I should have gone with my instinct to wait for my trusted supplier to get the 'good' stuff as opposed to taking a chance on this bozo.
Moral of the story? Always trust your instinct.
As for the infection, its been three days now and beginning to subside. Was headed for the doc on monday, but swelling and pain are both considerably less - on the bright side at least it was only 1.5cc of crap I put in.
