Breaking story from the East Coast, down in Kevin's home in Maryland. We heard rumbling and rumors of it yesterday, but as the weekend gets closer, it looks more official. Kevin Levrone is out of the 2003 Mr. Olympia due to a tricep tear, of which is minor. More information will come out as soon as possible on this top bodybuilding competitor who almost won the O last year.
As Dennis James wrote "Kevin, my prayers are with you and I wish you a very speedy recovery. See you all must know Kevin was and still is one of my idols and I would really like to see him compete. But if for whatever he won't make it, don't worry I will represent his physique at the Olympia. Kevin, I got your back, baby!!!"
Kevin tore it doing Lat Pull Downs in his World Gym doing the entire stack. For those of you who don't know what a tricep injury looks like, these are Kevin's pictures of the injury before his surgery to repair it on Thursday, August 28th.
