  • Injecting

Typically, I've been injecting all oil based substances in the glutes, rotating sides each injection w/ a 1 1/2" 22 gauge pin and injecting anything water based, such as hcg or winny, in the delts w/ 1" 25 gauge. My question is, do you think a 1" 25 gauge would be good for oil based injectibles in the delts as well or is it too thin for oils. Of course I would draw the oil w/ 22 gauge.

Thanks for any input. As most of the gear I have used is either oral or oil based, I'm concerned w/ building up scar tissue in the glutes and would like to start rotating injections more.

why don't you use your quads?

I think 25 gauge is too thin for oil, it will work but will take longer to squeeze out the oil.

      NO 25 is fine I use 25g 5/8 for everything except glutes then I use 25g 1"

with most oils 25g is ok, some oils it's really hard to get it out through em though, for delts i generally use 22g or 23g 1" pins but 25g will usually work it just takes longer to push the oil out

I've only done quads twice before. 22 gauge 1" for 500 mg of
sust, and it felt like someone shot me in the legs. I could barely walk for three days. I would never do it again. I've read a lot of threads about it being nice and smooth, but for some reason that wasn't my experience.

when doing quads just aim for the outside a little above center up and down and you'll find the sweet spot

works for me too. try quads again with the 25g 5/8inch. it takes forever to load, so just use your 22g to load.

Cool. I'll give the delts a try first w/ the 25 gauge. After past experience still hesitent to do quads, but I'll try to give it one more shot, no pun intended, as well.

Did 2 cc's in the lt delt w/ 25g 1" this weekend. Loaded w/ 22 gauge. Took a little longer to administer, but it went smooth. A little soreness in the delt today, but nothing that bad (probably the test prop). I have another question: I've avoided my right delt because I have a large tatoo there. Has anyone ever spot injected where they have a tattoo?

I find the outer head of the quad(on the side of your leg) is a lot less painful, and the soreness doesn't bother you as much when walking. I use a 1" 25 gauge for delts and quads and limit it to about 2ml an injection, no problems.
