We have to start shoving coat hangers down our pee holes to get some exposure. Seriously, funny how they have a huge list of people who died, no proof that the causes were steroids, but still tell the media that it was. WTF?

          Agreed..

Totally fine question you pose there about why estrogen is ok, not test..

And I will refer you to a post I made awhile back about the ban on Andro and shit.. It all comes back to pro sports.. Ortho will not help Venus Williams hit a better shot in tennis.. But test enhances atheletic endeavors, and therefore must be controlled.. Its bullshit, most people who take roids don't give a shit about pro sports. But that's the reason. Can't have your neighbor throwing a 120mph fastball because he is all roided out and then find the pro sports very interesting anymore.. We want to see the BEST. And the best would be those althletes with great genes and roided to the gills..

The santicity of pro sports must be maintained.. Therefore roids must remain illegal.. You think the govt gives a flying fuck if your 350lbs 2% bf? Why would they? But they get lobbied like crazy from pro sports to ban these substances..

For anyone who wants to see my full rant on this topic, search for designer steriods (I think that was the post title)..

A recent medical journal stated that there are 12 million males in the united states receiving hormone replacement therepy or anti-aging therepy (same thing). most public and media are so clueless they don't know that that means 12 million LEGAL steroid users. quadrupal that amount and that number probably falls short of the number of illegal users. world wide that number become even greater. We're talking MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of users all over the planet. If it was possible to die from steroids, we'd know it as a fact.

Anything can be abused, even asperin. Steroids can be used safely. I've been on HEAVY for 5 years, and have gained 130 pounds of pure muscle. blood work shows cholestrol is on the high end of healthy and blood pressure is hgher when on heavy, all is normal when on low dose test only. Liver values rise when on heavy but not to dangerious levels. One time my potasium got really high and caused me concern, but I stopped orals and it went down.

..we all know PMS is nothing more than a lil roid rage .....
when my girl tells me im being snappy when im "on" .. I tell her now you know what I deal with on a monthly basis.. !!

for the record ive never had any "roid rage" where I freaked out and couldnt control myself ... if youre an A-hole off the juice... youll be a bigger A-Hole on them..

lyle alzado also did a crap load of street drugs which dont help anything at all ..

The media is full of garbage period! If steroids are SO bad...then how is it over in places like Europe you can just walk into a store and grab whatever gear you desire like buying candy? And to call it a schedule 3? Somebody was smokin crack when they made that happen.

I REMEMBER WHEN ALZADO DIED.... And I also remember him saying that he had a brain tumor from growth hormone which isn't a steroid. That's why I don't take it.

That's what I remember the reason was too.

The danger with GH is it isn't selective. It causes everything to grow, skeletal muscle, soft muscle, cancer cells...

i think we have our wonderful government to thank for not being proactive and doing more reaserch to find out exactly what the pro's and con's are of AAS. So instead we are told by the media that they cause death and destruction and ban them. Just my 2 cc's

since we are on the subject does anyone know how Flex Wheeler is doing after his kidney transplant last year? just curious if anyone has read or heard anything. as for steriods causing deaths and other shit i think the media can kiss our ass. i know people that take pretty good amounts of shit and have for 8-12 years and go to the doctor to return with nothing wrong... its all about reasonable dosages!

that is correct. my internist is an endocrinolgist with years in at the cleveland clinic and now she specializes in longevity through hormone treatment. she did not flinch when I told her i had done deca, test, winstrol, tamoxifen, clomid yada yada yada and it was all injectable and no orals. she said basicaly - check yourself out once a year and no big deal.

when I told her I wanted her to check my gh and if it was low - get a script for it - and even try it in a higher dose - she looked at me and raised an eyebrow and told me - I do prescribe it and do so for my patients who are low in it - however this is the one drug I will tell you that you need to come see me every 6 months and have an annual colonoscopy if y ou are doing it because it will cause any cancerous diseases to accelerate and can be very destructive.

that scared me enough to stick to test and the others mentioned above in injectible format.

they used to say steroids would accelerate any cancer cells in the body too, I dont think they know shit about gh yet, its still too new, it hasnt been around long enough for them to know its long term effects

well - steroids can accellerate cancer growth - certain tumors that are estrogen or dht antagonized wil grow faster.

they have a lot of research on gh as far as promoting growth of cancer cells go. what my doc told me basically was that the risk between the two was no the same - that GH was much more risky as far as cancer growth goes.
