Importance of Aspirating

If you cant get the plunger back u need a bigger syringe, I bet you are using a 3ml case, go for a 5 ml case if you are gona be shooting 3mls at a time so you got plenty room to get it back. I had what you are talking about a couple weeks ago with a delt shot, although i did aspirate and it was clear, but when i pulled the needle out blood pissed out an ran down my arm. It happens from time to time

I hate it when blood and oil comes spurting out after an inject.
I feel as if I just wasted an entire shot... Stupid veins!! :D

I've become a pro at getting that cotton swab over the injection site a.s.a.p. !!

Yes more than half my injections I have some good blood flow after.

When you inject into the muscle does the oil just disperse into the muscle tissue and spread out? Is that why you should inject slow? I keep getting this image that the oil just forms a big ball in your muscle and sits there like a syst.

i don't know if i am lucky or just hit the right area every time. i never asp. i've done prob over 200 shots in my lifetime.delt mainly and never hit a vein. if you hit a vein while injecting you will feel it imed. if you inject into an area rather than the muscle directly you will start to cough as the oil enters the bloodstream. ive heard some bad stories about people who asp. who dont know what there doing and have had the needle break off.

It has never happened to me i have a registered nurse do my injections because i worry about hitting nerves veins air in the syringe and all kinds of other paranoid shit.Besides i might as well get something out of putting her thru school She read some of the other posts and did say there should be no blood flow if done right. When you aspirate all it takes is a little pressure back you should never have to pull hard enuf to break a needle.In fact she was kinda curious how that could happen.And she also said depending on the substance being injected failure to aspirate and hitting a vein could be fatal.
