  • Is Your First Cycle Actually Your BEST Cycle???

    I've seen this phrase thrown out there so many times, but I have to wonder how true it REALLY is. Ok, if diet, training & recuperation in order. Do you actually see your best results(ie. muscle growth) on your First Cycle? Or is this another gym myth? What has been your experience???

    you will see the most dramatic results. I am not sure how to qualify "best" though. I consider my best cycle the one that lasted over a year and I kept everything off of it. Retention of gains is what makes my cycles great and i lost everything on my first (alomst 20 pounds) because I didn't know what I was doing.

      I think alot of it is a comparision issue. Going from nat to not is a big difference. From cycle to cycle there's alot of contributing factors. But your body adapts to everything. Look at Bouncer's thread about coming off the test. He's going for a pro card (or at least was if I remeber correctly) and he's coming off for a bit for alot of reasons.

        What theory do you subscribe to? Low to moderate dose of Test(300-500mgs/wk)? Or the all out 750-1000mgs for a 1st cycle?

          well my most dramatic gains came from my first cycle but i've made alot better quality gains from cycles that i've done since then....
          i think that moderate dosages are better for a first cycle than going crazy with the dosages

            :agree: yes i had no clue about PCT when i started either. i gained 30lbs with no pct i lost about 20.
