I watched a video from a nursing program on injections. First of all they used a filtered needle when removing solution from amps in order to filter out any microscopic glass particles. Is this something that is necessary?
Also, the video instructs the would be nurse to pull an air bubble into the syringe for an IM inject. Then, as the solution is injected the air bubble is next to the stopper and after all the solution is injected, the air bubble is also injected to seal the injection somehow. I never heard of doing that.
Another thing i dind't understand is the site they used. I think it was in the gluteus medius but I don't know. Fuck, I'll probably end up killing myself.
