I saw something about using a filter needle when using amps so as to filter out any microscopic glass particles. Also I found some syringe filters on Lion. What is a syringe filter?

They are for making home brews. You wont needs them just for using amps and things like that. The amps are air tight, when you open them the air blows out and no glass gets in.Comment

yea i only use them for homebrew stuff, i've used hundreds of amps over the years and never drew with a filter and have had no problemsComment

I have had glass in an amp ...but I don't use filters for them ....I don't use amps oftenComment
