I now have made winny that is so pure that it can go through a 29pin.
It is the only one that I would safely say you can make higher volumes with...like 100cc or more.
winny 50mg/ml suspension
1 gram of winny powder
6ml peg 400
.45 filter
.22 filter - optional if you want to sterile filter your BW.
.6ml polysorbate 80
bacterialstatic water or (distilled water and 1%BA)
small pyrex beaker
glass stir rod
20cc vial sterilized without the stopper in place.
several 18gauge pins
1 10ml syringe - for peg/winny/ps80
1 20ml syringe - for BW
1. take 20ml syringe and draw up 15ml of BW- set aside
2. put beaker in frying pan and put on simmer.
3. add 4ml of the 6ml of peg400 to beaker
4. add .6ml of polysorbate 80 to the beaker.
5. weigh out 1 gram of powder.
6. add powder to beaker
7. stir powder with glass stir rod.
8. heat 5 minutes after it fully dissolves.
9 remove from heat for 7 minutes.
10 draw up solution with 10cc syringe and put a .45 filter on it with an 18 gauge needle on the end - leave capped.
11. read how much solution there is in the syringe - about 5.5ml
12 deduct 5.5ml from 20cc end volume to get 14.5ml of BW needed.
13. add BW to the sterile uncapped 20cc vial.
14. filter the solution into the BW slowly....count the drops. I went 15 drops then capped and shook at first because I was paranoid, by the end I was dropping 80 drops between capping and shaking.....aprox 1cc.
15. also, I decided to vary where the drops hit in the vial by circling the outer edge of the vial with the dropper as I dropped them in the BW- I didn't want them to land in the same spot.
16. If you do it right you should have to recap and shake at least 15 times before done - because of this make sure your hands are very clean before you start this step because you will inevitably touch part of the vial cap that fits inside the vial.
16. For added protection heat it in the oven for 20minutes at 250 degrees at the end but I didn't
