  • cc or ml?

This may sound stupid, but when people refer to a cc do they actually mean a ml since that is what syringes are marked in?

cc= cubic centimeter, this must be a measurement by volume.

ml must be measured by weight or something. . . fuck I don't know. :lm:

          ml is metric - milli(m) = 1/1000. Or 1/1000 of a litre(l) thus milli-litre(ml)

They are both metric. Milliliter = 1/1000 liter; centimeter = 1/100 meter. If you cube a unit of length (centimeter), you get a unit of volume (cm^3). Both milliliter and centimeter are metric measurements.

            And yes, 1cm^3 = 1 mL.

The English standard of volume is the fluid ounce.

Oops. Nevermind my post then. Looks like someone didn't pay attention in school.
