I'm not a mod or anything, but I have friends of mine that are in their late 40's and early 50's and they just picked up some additional gear (amateur BB competitors). They are in good health and that's where your friend would probably want to start his research. After researching his own health, tell him to be honest with his family physician and go from there. After a 'bill-of-good-health,' then assess his physical goals and figure out what SUPER-SUPPLEMENT is right for him.

no, infact he will see more off of test then someone younger (you have less as you grow older)
A nice simple cycle to get him back (assuming his training and diet are all there still) is a test/deca cycle. (deca for the jionts, you can use EQ if you want just drop the test down a litlte and run more EQ) )Remember that if you hurt yourself at 50 it take much longer to heal then even at 40.
500mg of test a week weeks 1 to 14.
400mg of deca a week weeks 1 to 13
10mg nolvadex ed for weeks 1 to 16
250IU of HCG 2 to 3 times a week weeks 1 to 16
Start PCT week 17 with nolvadex 40,40,30,30,20,20
Please note that I have been told that it takes a while longer to recover as you get older hence the 6 week PCT instead of 4. I am taking one guy (older) at his word, so take that one with a grain of salt. then again I don't think it would hurt at all.
Allso if his a smaller guy wack off 100mg on the dosages.Last edited by Skyefire; 09-16-04, 03:00 AM.

Prior to gearing, he needs to make sure that:
* His blood pressue is good
* His cholesterol profile is good
* His prostate is good (need a PSA)
* His general health is good (kidneys, liver function, glucose, etc)
Everyone should do this, but the older you are the more likely you are to have some issue - hence even more important for the older athlete.
