  • Has this happened to anyone or know what caused it?

I just cant catch a break when it comes to injecting. Literally 20 minutes ago,i was injecting 1.75 cc in my good ole right quad.
everything went fine,i aspirated and saw some bubles,so i shot it in..and as i pulled it out slowly and as the needle came fully out,i heard a suction noises and blood came pouring out but none got in the syringe or on the needle..so i quickly used the alcohol pad and slowed it,and it stopped....i was wondering what this could mean..was it jus in a vessel as it was going in?and if it was,are there any reprecutions?thanks guys

well if you break the skin and push a needle through the muscle you are going to break capillaries so there should pretty much always be a little blood when you pull out. As far as the suction I have never heard that before so I don't know. but everything sounds normal.

I did literally 1000's of shots never heard suction sounds either.
      I think maybe panic attack.

no no..blood POURED out..it was dark dark red and right as the needle came out, blood came out..i have had a few injections where no blood came out and only 1 where i had to put pressure on the spot to get it to stop, and it was might first...i dont think anything will be wrong..but i was wondering what happens if you inject in a vein or something...i mean like i said, there was no pain..only a tad when i slid it in at the beginning, but it went away as i slowed down the sliding of the needle

happens once in a while. Wait till you hit a gusher and the blood actually SQUIRTS across the room. LOL

i am not tryin to move the needle around..when i try to aspirate, sometimes the needle moves when i try to pull back the plunger...i hope i never get a squirter..i think i would kinda be nervous the next time...but how did your leg(or wherever you injected) feel the next day?any pain or excessive soreness?

If this makes any sense, the suction like noise comes when you not pulling the needle straight out. After you inject, the needle is pushing to one side of the tiny hole. It's sliding along one side of the skin more than the other. I have had this happen before on a glute shot. Got a cramp in my leg while doing it so I rotated my hips a little and the needle was pulled out at an angle.
