My hunger is thru the roof, I can eat till i am full, but then i'm still hungry. I basically just eat whole food. I wonder if i should start drinking protien powder? It's like there is not enough time in the day for me to eat. Deca/test by the way.

Well ya, powder is great post workout. Gives your muscle a quick supply of the nutrients they need.

I find that shakes actually kill my appetite so it might be a good way to curb yours if you want that.

I think you need to be more specific with what your eating. By using test and deca I am also assuming your in a muscle building mode. So therefore, you may be hindering your calories and not even knowind. Meaning your keeping your diet to clean which is what a lot of people trying to gain tend to do. There is nothing wrong with eating clean in the offseason, but everyones metabolism is different. If this is the case with you then you may not need to eat so clean. So post your whole diet and we'll see if we can help you from there.

As far as the protein shakes go, they tend to make me hungry after an hr or so. See Stonecold gets full, but not me. Once again everyone is different. I normally like to eat every 3-4hrs apart depending on what i am doing (offseason or diet mode). So that may or may not need to be the best thing for you. Tell us your whole diet and your current stats then we should be able to help.

But for now I can give you a list of things that will keep you full. I like milk, whole eggs, red meat, whole foods of that nature. In the offseason I don't seperate my egg whites and I dont worry about my cut of red meat. These things keep you full. I also prefer Carb Countdown milk. It keeps you very full plus slams you with protein.

Vegatables will keep you full. Heres a little trick that will never make you go hungry. When eating your meal have a protein source, vegatables and a carb source. Eat all of the protein first. Then eat all of your veggies, at least a cup. Then lastly eat all the carbs you want until your belly is full. SOmetimes that may mean a 1/2 cup of rice, sometimes it may mean 2 cups. Its offseason, who cares.

Or, when I get hungry in between meals, that is candy bar time. Yes you heard that right. Candy bar time. I prefer a snickers or something with nuts. In the offseason it should not matter. So if your getting hungry inbetween meals let a little cheating be caught up with. Just make sure you dont eat so much junk that you miss your next scheduled meal.
