    Hey guys,

    I am new to this board (been viewing for quite awhile). I have a question about a cycle I am about to begin.

    I have both Test 400 and Decca QV 300 that I am going to use. I have enough for about a 14 week cycle. My question is this: How do I start the cycle (in terms of ramping up) and during the cycle what to maintain at. And lastly, how do a ramp down. I realize this may sound like a stupid question...I did a cycle a couple years ago (with refrvit (spelling?) ) and had a tough time with the ramping down and my body not producing its own testosterone. I just want to make sure that I do it the correct way this time and not fuck things up again.

    I am 6'6 and about 250 pounds. I am looking to both add and cut. Really I want to know how to use the combo correctly.

    well there's no need to taper up and down with the dosages, just pick the dosage and stick with it the whole length of the cycle.. then do your PCT....

      for example: 400mg/test, 300mg/deca both for say 12 weeks, then 3 weeks after your last shot of deca start the clomid/nolva

        I wouldnt do the deca for being your first "real" cycle. Just run test at 500 mg week, for 12 weeks. Wait 2 weeks and start a good post cyle therapy. Clomid or nolva will work. Do a search, and decide which one you want to use.
        BTW, you need to decide if you want to BULK,or CUT, and adjust your diet accordingly. One or the other. cant do both, as diet decides that.
        Deca is so hard to recover from, i wouldnt use it just yet. Get a couple easier cycles under your belt first.

          :agree: pct 20 mgs nolva for weeks 1-4 100mgs clomid weeks 1-2 and 50 mgs clomid weeks 3-4 that should do it!

            Bro you definately need to do more research before you make the same mistakes again. The reason you had problems with recovery before wasn't because you didn't "ramp down properly", it ws becuase you didn't even have a PCT. Tapering up and down is a waste of time. The others gave some great advice. I would agree on sticking with just the test for the 12 weeks with the PCT that Rocket layed out. I am not a big fan of deca either personally because it shuts me down harder than any other drug. Nothing else casues shrinkage in me either other than deca.

              no need for ramping up or down bro


              test -- 500 mgs 14 weeks

              save your deca for the next time -- but if your set on running it

              deca -- 400 mgs 13 weeks

              start your pct [post cycle therapy] 2 weeks after your last inject of test

              nolva -- 40 mgs for 14 days then 20 mgs for another 14 days


              as far as bulking or cutting that comes with your diet and cardio bro

                Hey guys thanks for the advice. Thats why I asked. I will probably just run the Test this cycle as advised.

                I am pretty jacked up to start it. I have been training since I was 14 (27 now) and this will be my first real cycle.

                    Am i the only one that is a fan of deca. I love the stuff i keep 85% of my strength and size gains when i finish a cycle with deca.As long as your PCT is in order recovery isnt a problem.

                      I have another question maybe you guys could offer up some advice on.

                      I recently had back surgery (herniated disc). I was off from lifting basically all summer. I have started back up and it has been feeling good (pretty fuckin sore though). I have had no problems with my back (haven't isolated back yet in workouts). Should I start my cycle now, or wait a while until I have been back into it for some time?

                      What do you guys think? I am more apt to begin the cycle to help with the recovery from the surgery and to help get back the gains I have lost.

                        WAIT until you fully recovered before you start this cycle. You want to be 110% to make the proper gains, not trying to recover. What did your doctor tell you was accepltable in terms of trainng? Did you go to any physical therapy?

                          I did not go through any physical therapy. None was recommended. As far as training I can do anything as long as my back is supported.
