Found a good report on Adequan on the FDA website:

So by reading this it seems to me that we should be taking our regular joint bills rather then adaquan. Unless I understood wrong it says it makes it hard to gain weight and also is toxic to your organs. Please let me know if this is correct or if I am wrong cause I was thinking about taking this drug.

my read was that in the proper dosages there are no adverse affects howeve at higher dosages there were the typical nasty sides. kind of like everything else - great in moderation - terrible in abuse.

Just remember the FDA also let aspertain into the food chain. So do not belive the hype. Adequan or the generic chondroprotec will work even if you took the recomended horse dose 500mg.

I have some it works very well no sides had aches and pains disappear it actually repair degenerative joint disease (DJD) and stops it and allows synivovial fluids (the lubricate joints and stop friction and bursitises) and IMO is an amazing drug.

I'm afraid if they put it on the market they would loose to much money from drug company's on all the anti-in-flam meds they have out.
