I've been waiting for a package to arrive here and have been watching it's progress through an automated system. It seemed to have cleared customs, but then did not move for several days. I called to inquire as to the status and they began a trace. Now when I pull it up, it states the package is awaiting translation. Anyone ever here of this? There would be no leakage, nor rattle from the package. They are listed as documents. When I spoke with them, that's what I told them as well. What should I do? Do you think it's been opened? I know it's hard to tell, but the last shipments came without a hitch. There is no need for translation on a shipping label, that's the bottom line. If they call back, should I now say I don't know who it was from? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Re: Seized?!? What to do?
I would just wait on it and if it doesn't come eventually count it as a loss. don't make anymore calls about it or talk about it in case something is wrong with it.Originally posted by Insuranceman

If its been seized, you should get a letter from customs. If that happens, throw the letter away and consider it a loss. If it's delivered and they try to get you to sign for it, I would refuse the package. Better safe than sorry. Hopefully, none of the aboce happens. Good luck and admit nothing.

I was thinking the same thing. Its time for him to clean house if he hasn't already. For that matter I wouldn't have even used the tracing funtion. let the send do it from his end if it must be done.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER
You really shouldnt have called. Since you called to ask about it you cant really say that its not your package now can you?

I was thinking of going this route. May not be a good idea after all.Originally posted by Insuranceman
