  • Increasing dosages

I was wondering why in each successive cycle people believe they need more gear. For example for the first cycle people recommend 500mg test, but for cycles after that people do much larger ammounts of gear. My question is, does gear have decreasing effects with each cycle? If one were to have gained 20 pounds using just 500mg of test, would they have to increase the dosage and add more compounds for the next cycle? And if so, what mechanism causes it? Does the body obtain permanant resistance to the exogenous testosterone compounds?

    Thanks.

it is based on the same prinicple of when you lift naturally. You can only get so much muscle from a given amount of your endogenous horomone levels. when you reach that certain point and use streoids (exogenous) you move the bar so to speak up with respect to the amount of muscle your body can sustain. So if you use 300mg of test for your first cycle you will still have a max amount of muscle you can gain but it will be above what you couldv'e naturally. then after that point is reached then each sucessive cycle will have to be a bit higher than last to keep gaining. Now that said most people can contiue to gain off lower amounts of gear for a long time. they just don't wait long enough. I used 1 gram of test for a year and even though my gains slowed after awhile I was still gaining.

Dosages vary from person to person. While one person may achieve the desired results from 250mg's of test a week another person may achieve the same results at 500mg's per week. It stands to reason however that over time a person will not make the same gains from the same dosages. Granted I'm not talking about doing one cycle and then upping the dosage. Personally I would wait till I see gains start to subside before I would up the dosage. Let's take for example if you do one cycle at 500mg's per week. If say 3 cycles down the road you notice that 500mg's isn't cutting it then yes, up your dosage.

A lot more factors go into this than upping the dosage though. Take a look at your diet, is it that same as it was previous cycles. Or how about your sleeping habits and training habits? If all of these are in fact the same and your not gaining anymore than go ahead and up your dosage. I think some people get pumped up for that first cycle and their training and eating and sleeping habits are great and then in future cycles they slack off so therefore they think well, let's just up the dosage.

It stands to reason though that if your training, eating, and sleeping are all the same throughout all of your cycles you may run two cycles and then up the dosage because you may not want to "waste" a cycle having to see if your tolerance to AS. has gone up. I think that is why some people up the dosages before they really KNOW that they should. Hope this helps.

this is what i have noticed in my usage.

i stay on year round, and i notice the longer im on test, the more test i need to take to keep gaining. IE, when im on test for 10 weeks, at 500mg a week, the gains start to platuea, then i have to take a bit more to keep going. BUT, when i got off test for a while, like two months or so, when i start back on test, even at a low dose like 500-1000, i get really good gains again. ive been on test for the whole year so far, and im up to 2000mg of test a week. in a bout 7 weeks im gonna go off test for about 3 months, so i get that boost again when i get back on test.

imo, i thinks it varies from person to person. Some might get good results from high doses and where some with smaller doses. The food is the big key too. Cause lets say first cycle ur eating 3000k a day and getting good results and say u reach 230 in weight. Ok, next cycle u up the dose and eat the same amount of calories 3k a day, u wont put on much or even anything at all.

I did my 4th cycle this summer and ended it yesterday (16-17 weeker). I ran 600mgs of test-e last summer and this summer. The only difference was the diet. I gained more off of this one. I was eating more but cleaner. As where last yea i was eating high amounts of calories and protein, yeah i put on some serious weight (20 pounds) but was all bulk too. This year, I ate more leaner, cutting carbs after certain hours and it all went well. Since I was cutting up towards the end I lost 4-6 pounds but feel bigger and better than last year. My weight is 218 right now, from 224. So imo opinio it all varies from person to person. But also its best to find out for yourself which doses work well and which dont. But its never bad to add a few mgs to ur weekly dosage. I found out that the food does it for me.:)
