  • Local Source?

Ok here's the deal I have a friend who got a
name and number of a local source from a "somewhat"
    reliable bodybuilder/gym owner.

    Here is his question:

How would you go about calling
this source and setting things off?

What kind of questions should he ask?

    Thanks in advance!

Sounds like a bust waiting to happen. Why would anyone call a person they dont know and ask them for drugs? lol. Come on bro. Is this "friend" you? My advice, dont call.

I would treat it the same as the internet and take a LONG look at this person and just build a general sense of the situation over months.

I can't even imagine what would motivate you to 'cold-call' a complete stranger. Personally, I'd have said friend take me down to the gym to talk to the bodybuilder/gym owner...feel him out to see if it's legit...and then arrange to meet the source in person at the gym. You can detect if something is 'up' when you're face to face...but over the phone, you could very well be set up without a clue of what's about to go down. Be smart!

If it was me, I'd say it was. But I am asking for my own benefit as well but my friend is the one who would make the call not me....So he wanted to to get others opinions.

Yeah, and you're right it does sound like a bust waiting to happen the fact is, that we both know where he got the number and name from, which I stated is the Owner of a local gym.
And feel it may be somewhat legit.

          But there is hesitation!

That's why he has asked me to see what other people think.

I don't think he was going to call and say "Hey you got some drugs I can buy" I think he was going to make it a little more discrete. But thanks for your concern!

Maybe I came off the wrong
way or you misunderstood my question.

I understand its important to get to know
someone or "feel them out" over a period of time which was
            the idea.

The question was what type of questions would you ask to "speed up the process" if you will.

Is "somewhat legit" worth you getting busted for? I know my @$$ is way to valuable for that. Like it has already been said, I'd talk to the gym owner. If he's your friend and is willing to give you the guys number he should be willing to help you meet the person face to face.
