  • Slin Users???

I just read that it is important to bring insulin back to room temperature before injecting. Why is this necessary and how will it effect is absorption, if at all. I was not aware of this. Any thoughts?

huh, never heard that. I can't see that it would make a huge difference because your body heat will heat up that small amout of liquid rather quickly upon injecting.

Bro I just did a little more research and I guess injecting insulin at room temp just reduces skin irritation. Which makes sense becuase I notice quite a bit of redness and irritation sometimes.

if you pull your slin in the pin and get your shake or food ready to consume the slin in the pin will be a little warmer so you do not have to worry about it I pull mine up and make my shake by the time I am done it is fine !

Good call Bro...that is what I have been doing. Sometimes I just preload the syringe before I head to the gym and leave it out until I come back. Definately notice a lot less irritation.
