Feeling extra bloated today and have some holiday events to attend this weekend, so I decided to take a 40 mg lasix to flush out some water. Also, took 200 mg of potassium and plan to take 100 mg of potassium every 2 hrs tonight and tomorrow. I am not planning any physical activity for the rest of the weekend.

Weighed 199.8 lbs when I took the lasix tonight at 7:45 pm.

just cut back on the simple carbs to get rid of some of the bloat.
no need for lasix yet bro.. unless your in a rush to get certain results, the rush for results is how people end up getting hurt

I'll probably catch some heat for this statement, but I think the daners of occasional lasix use (one tab every couple of months) are overstated on the boards. Don't get me wrong, lasix is a very dangerous drug, if abused. If used properly, though, lasix is safe and very effective.

if you insist , the injectable is more predictable, the tabs are very unpredictable which is part of the danger

NM - no simple carbs in my diet (except post workout). I'm taking 25 mg Aromasin everyday and eating clean. Just holding some extra water ... probably from the dbol. Tried some dandelion root this week, without success.

One tab of lasix isn't much to get worried about....but as a rule, something milder like hydrochlorothiazide would have been a better choice.

                193.4 lbs this morning.

Experienced a little adominal muscle cramping last night (muscles, not internal organs), but, other than that, nothing to speak of.

Face is a lot less bloated.

You would be correct at that dose and only once in a great while you should have no negative sides. Problems only arise when you use it for an extended period of time at doses higher than needed. MDs prescribe the stuff like its going out of style for people with CHF to combat the edema. Keep in mind though these people need the drug and get blood work done. And lets not forget are under a MDs direct care.

Be very careful taking potasium supps not a good idea. When self-administering diuretics and potassium salts, an extreme imbalance could result in heart failure. And BEWARE THE 500MG TABS . These should never be taken by someone with normal kidney function. It should also never be used by someone who is already drained and dehydrated it can KILL you if abused.
Other then that I love the stuff one 40mg tab and 6hrs later no more stay puff marshmellow man.

Didn't drink much water yesterday, and, by the time I got to the party, no bloat at all. Came back a little today, though.

It's good that you researched ahead of time to notice it wasn't potasium sparing. Like it was stated earlier it is a harsher diuretic but a 1 time 40mg dose is nothing to get over concerned about. I'm not saying diuretics or safe but that dose is no where near extreme. I would've gone with aldactone over a period of a few days but I guess you wanted to lose the water quick. As ironic as it sounds drinking lots of water works as a diuretic, you also could've found an OTC diuretic like taraxotone sp?.
