  • Bloat & Catabolism - Timing Your Counterpunches

Everyone who is interested in fighting bloat from certain AAS and catabolism in general should know when to best time their counterpunch to stop these from doing the greatest part of their damage. Did you know there was a best time?

First of all, much of the bloat people experience is caused by aldosterone which controls water retention, by mechanisms which are beside the point right now. This is to say that estrogen isn't your main bad-guy regarding bloat, and we know that keeping estrogen levels moderate is important to main both healthy cholesterol levels and a white blood cell count. Using a dedicated anti-e to knock your estrogen levels to oblivion works, but there are smarter ways to go, namely by using a (low dosed) dedicated anti-aldosterone agent like spironolactone at the right time. When you are not on cycle, and you are worried about losing your gains, taking clen can help, but using a dedicated anti-cortisol agent at the right times should do wonders.

Here is an article that should be consulted: Aldosterone [and cortisol] release during the sleep-wake cycle in humans. Most of you will just skip that, so let me give you the gist of what we are interested in taking from it: to minimize aldosterone induced bloat, the right time to take an anti-aldosterone agent is before bed, and to minimize cortisol induced catabolism, take an anti-cortisol agent like 7-OH, upon waking and about 4 hours later.
