As far as what causes the distention, wouldn't it be from the igf-1 increase from use of either gh, or slin?

Considering that igf-1 use in itself causes growth of everything around the injection site, or something like that.. :)

it is directly related to GH. gh at low doses won't do that but at higher doses it will...

I've also heard that the gut distension side effect has a lot to do with the dosage GH is used at. I think I read it in MD..... Can't remember.....

I think I read that slin use causes increased deposits of visceral fat around internal organs, causing the gut to protude. Also, I'm sure the igf makes your guts grow too...probably lotsa things happening
