    Gonna dive right into this guys. I have read the boards and have come to my own conclussions but wanted to share what a good buddy of mine shared with me.

    I am gonna be taking shot number 7 this Sunday. I am taking 2 cc's of test enthate a week through my whole cycle.

    Here is what I put together in the begining:

    weeks 1-10 2 cc's of test
    weeks 12-15 Clomid (I have it broken down to decline amount each week)

    that's a simple cycle for me. I am28 years old 6 foot 245 pounds. When I lift I always do 3 sets with my 3rd set going to depleation. Now let me tell you some of my results so far. incline bench on my 3rd set. Week 1, 225 4 times, week 6, 315 3 times. kick backs week 1, 30 pound dbells 4 times, week 6 40 pound dbells 8 times.

    I hope you can understand that as much of my workout is showing real steady improvements. I am getting confused now with my cycle. A good buddy of mine says I need to start taking nolvadex now through end of cycle. I thought I should only take that if i where seeing signs of gyno. He says I may be retaining water and that by taking the nolvadex it will fight my estergen or something. I do have nolvadex but am not taking it and as you can see my pct has me taking clomed. Do I need to be taking nolva now?????

    Lastley, he says I am not working enough sets in a work out to keep my stamina up. He wants me to do a test next week. Put 225 on flat bench and see how many times I can lift it. He says if I can lift it around 20 times I am in good shape and have been working the slow fibertwitch muscle instead of the fast fibertwitch. He says if I can only get it up 10 times I am not working hard enough in my routines and should work harder. I have heard on the board hear you can overtrain but he says while I am on my cycle I can't overtrain. I disagree with him, but still would like to be reassured.

    This is my second cycle I have read quite a few articles on what steriods do and have spent hours reading info on these boards. I guess I am just looking to see if I should start my Nolva this next week or if I am fine doing what I thought I was doing.

    As of this moment I am gonna stay with what I orignally put down for. 2ccs a week then clomid on pct.

      i would wait a wk after ur cycle is dead....and start ur nolvadex...

          His thoughts are crap. Being able to do 225 20 times it a stupid way to judge results. Yes you can overtrain while on cycle. Tell your friend to do some more research. Your 6 foot 245, but what is your body fat. Im not qustioning you, just hight and weight dosn't tell much about a fitness level.

              I take it he is one of these guys who "played football" in college and his strength coach said....I usually can spot these guys when they bring up any kind of test with 225lb bench included....

              ....not to flame bro but keep reading you'll get....

                Thanks, and believe me I enjoy reading these boards. Don't always have a full understanding but get the jist.

                I would say I am 20-25 pounds overweight. I need to get my body fat tested. I will find out if the gym I go to will test me.

                I can tell ya I am built more like a farm boy, I love meat and potatoes. I will find out and let ya know.

                  Nolvadex during cycle has been shown to reduce IGF-1 by 10-20% if taking 20 mg per day. You should only take Nolva if you begin to show symptoms of gyno.

                    To put it gently, your friend doesn't know what he is talking about.

                    Unless you are seeing a lot of water bloat (and that bothers you) or you are seeing signs of gyno (tender, puffy nips, etc.), there is no need to take nolva. As someone above mentioned, it has been shown to decrease IGF-1 levels significantly and that may hinder your gains.

                    It depends on what your goals are as to how you should be training and YES, you can overtrain while on AAS. If you are bulking, you should go with lower rep sets of heavier weights. Lift the heaviest weights you can lift with correct form for sets of 8. Do 3 to four sets. Decrease the weight as you must to complete the 8 reps. If you are cutting, lift somewhat lighter weights for higher rep sets. LIft the heaviest weights you can lift with correct form and do sets of 15. Do 4 to 5 sets and decrease the weight as you must to complete the 15 reps. Cardio is also important, especially if you are cutting.

                      I am going for mass so I am 3 sets heavy

                        i think you should lift to failure of 8 reps all the time, bulking or cutting, Cutting is just diet and cardio.
