I know I'm not a vet like you guys are having only 11 posts.
But I did lift professional for 15 yrs.
And I did squat over 900 lbs. and benched over 600 lbs.
I did train 4 world powerlifting champions.
And I'm not living through Arnold.
I'm an old man now. 52 years old. But I can still bench over 550 lbs. and I don't have to dream through someone who retired over 20 yrs ago!!
Maybe some day I'll be able to write an amazing 300 letters on a steriod forum and fullfill all my dreams.

That is great! Post the meets you did this at and the PL mags it was listed in. . .I know a lot of 900 squatters that do it in the gym, which does not count; that is th great thing about PL. .they have it all in writing somewhere, even the smallest meets. Shoot up the names of the guys you trained as well. . .I would be interested to see who they are as well and also what federation they are/were in. . . Personally I really do admire arnold but I don't want to emulate him. .fame is overrated and I like it now when nobody is sifting through my garbage. . .
Just keep the answers toned down and you will be fine here. Just because you have reached a point where you may not look to others for inspiration does not mean that others cannot do so.

maybe it is. .I was not trying to shoot him down. . .just give him a chance to prove that he did all the stuff he listed. . .no harm there! If he is some artist and can do all the lifts he said, then good on him. .but his attitude needs to be adjusted. .I honestly have not met too many 52 year old artists that have an attitude like that though:)

To "CANADAGOLD"- Finally I got a post I respected. I respect Arnold to but I don't worship him. As for the guys who can't lift thier own body wt. and make smart remarks to me they don't deserve an answer. Those I'll laugh at.
You know every claim a body builder has made on how muich wt. they have lifted has been done in the gym and from your statement they mean nothing. I agree. At least Arnold admitted he could only squat 660 lbs.

Steve Bon er- elite division 275 lb class. American Drug free Powerlifting Organization. 2nd place 2 world championships in a row.

Rick Ioppola- elite division. 132 lb class- USPA 2 World Bench Press Championships. Held world Record in bench in that Division on and off for 2 yrears. 427 lbs. I trained him from the first day he ever picked a wt. up.

Anthony Salmon- Novice Division- 242 lb class-USPA Only a novice but he did squat 760.

I never won a world championship. Had a knee replacement because of a fall in the gym with a 1003 lbs. Did squat it though. Unfortunately I squated it all the way to my ass and into a ball on the floor. Did win the Pan Am games for the US. In 1991 with the WPO.

All the other lifters lifted in the mid 90's.

If that satisfies you great if not that's ok to. Ya there's not four; I bullshited.

                      Thanks

                                Larry,

For someone that has nothing to prove, you sure act like you have everything to prove. All of the guys that I know of that squat over 1000 don't do any bragging on the boards or bitching in most cases.
