  • How much do the pros...

I was reading the thread about how much gear Arnold was on, and it made me think about something. What kind of doses do you guys think the pros take? The huge guys like Coleman and Cutler, and Ruhl. Those guys are freaking animals. I read on another post about Stonecold saying he had used 2 grams a week of test, and that sounded like a lot. But I was just curious about how much the monsters took?

no one knows but like any professional athlete who goes all out to be the best you can just imagine the pressures for them to take whatever they can to be on top.

The pressure in this "sport" is the worst IMO. In any other sport you can be an Average Pro and be above wealthy. In this you have to be Mr.O or The Arnold Champ to just be Wealthy.

I also think its worth it though. Because you get to transform your body into whatever you want to make it to.

completely agree. . .except for a select few (cutler, coleman, dexter and a few others) the rest of getting peanuts unless they are doing something creative like Titus and his after parties. . .I want to turn pro but not for the money. . just to say I have achieved it and maybe get a paying contract would be cool so I can relax a bit more. . but my normal job and life always come first because I have a wife and at some point I will have kids. . .that is more important than any trophy or being a beast. . .

Ok bros, I didnt mean it that way. I was meaning like people like us. That dont take that much gear, that it is worth BB to perfect our bodies. I would never tell myself "hey let me risk my health or life for 10-15lbs more" NO WAY! I never plan on going pro or anything. I just want to do it as a hobby, and besides I like the way I see my body change from cycle to cycle. Not to mention, I love eating!

:) cool bro! By the way you worded it it sounded like you meant it was worth it to some pros to take heaps:) well maybe to them it is but as you said, not for regular guys.

I think what's the biggest dissappointment of all is that this industry as a whole, as far as supplements and nutrition go, is a billion dollar a year industry. They use these pictures of bodybuilders right before competition time to sell their products and for what........free supps or a cheap ass fuckin contract. It's a damn shame what pros have to do to reach that level and then when they do attain pro status most are still not making nearly as much as they should be. IMO it's the damn industry that needs to start turning over some of that damn cash they're making to bodybuilders. Screw a $100,000 and a hummer. I'd like to see a $500,000 pay day from a few supplement companies that make in the 100's of millions of dollars a year.

There are only a handful making that kind of cake from contracts. .it is sad:(
