  • The baseball BS

what is the point of having a congressional hearing over a few pro atheletes using AS? And why isn't there one over Football?

What a load of crap. It's all some big political showpiece. Like clinton and big tobacco.

I think because the Olympics and Baseball are the ones where it got out of hand and they keep finding more athletes in those sports using aas.

imo, i dont really care who uses steroids. I dont know why they make a big deal out of it. I just hate it when people freak when they mention the word steroids, what about the other worst drugs out there, rec, etc. Damn media

My brother lives in Des Moines and apparently the Des Moines Register wrote a pretty good article on AAS. My brother said it presented a lot of the upsides and said that there could be very little negative side effects with proper, knowledgable use. My brother is very conservative and now believes after reading that article that they are at least something to be considered. Pretty amazing for something from the media!

That's incredible...a newspaper that didn't sensationalize the evils of steroid use to try and sell more copies. One in a million for sure.

I think they need to worry more about other things - like why those same men (government) have sex with their male aids! What a load of crap! What do you expect from a pro athlete?

No one would have expected Dale Earnhardt to have used unleaded in his hi performance car!! But that's exactly what they want of a pro athlete!!! BS!!!!

I wonder how proud of themselves congress will feel when baseball becomes a snorefest with few homeruns, attendance goes down, and top stars spend forever on the DL with minor muscle strains and tendonitis because they can't speed their healing with AAS. Oil has soared to $56.45 a barrel and the cocksuckers haven't formed a task force to deal with that, but they're willing to get all up in arms about some 10cc vials of oil containing some hormones.

Quotes by Limbaugh today on steroids and baseball

These are taken directly from Rush's site:

"After steroids we're waiting for hearings on hemorrhoids. It's a big problem in Congress -- and when are we going to get into the Botox hearings? I mean, people are dying!"

"I haven't been approached by anybody in baseball on anything since 1983 when I was reprimanded for something I did working at the Kansas City Royals." (This in response to a legislator accusing him of selling out to baseball on national radio)

"There's nothing wrong with being a regular guy. I'm a regular guy."

"I love the NFL but if we're serious about steroid policy, where's the NFL? Where's the NBA? Where are other sports. I mean, how do we know golfers aren't using steroids?"

Rush has actually been worth listening to for the past 3 days; finally an objective media outlet!!!!

                          law changes

According the Senator Chris Dodd, stiffer penalties, higher bonds, restriction on companies makeing the stuff and holding them accountable, tighter controls on international deliveries, tighter boarder controls, partnership with Mexico with incentives to their pharmaciesllll and more....this is not good....
