WooHoo!! I wonder how long it will take for the FDA to alter their laws on ephedra and how long it will be until we can get it again? I think I'll be up for another cutting phase in about 9months so they better get their butts in action!

It will be a national thing cause it's the FDA, but the FDA still has to rewrite their stance on ephedra to be inline with the courts ruling, which means it could be some time of going back and forth still.Originally posted by wnabeabeast
I am going to Utah.:D
I still don't understand how they can ban it--there are so many substances that, if used excessively, can kill you? How about alchohol or a bunch of other drugs, for that matter?!

This ruling will obviously result in the deaths of hundreds of millions of people. Oh, no, wait, that's the perfectly-legal product tobacco.
Hopefully some manufacturer will get the balls to put this back on the shelves again. And maybe, just maybe, the FDA will realize they had no right to restrict it in the first place.
But I doubt it.

Does it really matter since it's still readily available legally?

I don't know where your shopping but it's been taken off the shelves everywhere along time ago.
Vasopro. Perfectly legal for the treatment of respiratory ailments.

YaY! you proved nothing. So what if you can buy it in Canada, Mexico, and on the internet.
Yes, the bottles of mini-thins (ephedrine and guaifenesin) have still been on sale in most of the gas stations for respitory aliments.
So basically you can still purchase Ephedra if it is marketed as a bronchiodialator. The ban only covers dietary supplements (so its not legal).
Saying its READILY available is a stretch and incorrect.:)Last edited by NYCmitch25; 04-14-05, 07:16 PM.
