I use an 1 1/2 in needle. I push it into my quad, once I get about 1/3 of the way in I start injecting. I continue to push the needle farther in. One time I did it slow enough to get the 1cc when there was only about 1/4 of the needle still showing. Last time I injected up to that point and as I was coming out. I made sure I had injected it all while there was still a little less than half the needle in on the way out. Well there has been zero soreness and almost zero tightness. Almost feels like I didn't even stick myself. Now I don't know how this effects me as far as getthing gear in the wrong spots or what it does to spread it out througout the muscle. Plus there's no aspiration since the needle just moves in and back out while injecting.

Yea, I didn't know about moving through a vien. That's why I posted it. I havn't had a prob in 2 injects, but before I kept doing it, I wanted to see what others think. Also if I go through a vien, what do you think the negatives are even if it's only for a couple secs and very little gear is in the same spot (at least that the goal of injecting like that).

you might get tightness in the chest and one hell of a cough -- been there done that:)
if its a very small amount might not see anything happen but are you willing to risk it

Why are you using a 1-1/2" pin in the quads? I'm sure you're muscular enough to hit easily into the quad muscles with a 1", (or less), pin. I personally use 1" 27 ga., and am thinking of trying a 5/8". I couldn't have more than an 1/8" or skin, (or fat) on my quads, and I'm sure you're probably that way too. Besides, as others have said, moving in and out while you inject is asking for trouble. BB

Gottcha. I always hit the quads, much easier to see what you're doing, plus, there's plenty of room to change sites around. IMHO, glutes hurt much more than quads. Of course I use test Enanthate and it rarely hurts at all. BBOriginally posted by Shibby
I had always done glute injects, and decided to finally man up and try quad :) Those are the needles I have.
