BA/BB % - don't understand, pls help

Hey guys. My first time posting here. How are ya?

Excuse me for my very ignorant question - but can you help me understand the meaning when one says

"I use 2% BA and 12% BB."

Can you give a sample computation?

?? Well.....percent means part of a hundred, right??

If you add 2 mL BA and 12 mL BB to 86 mL oil to get 100 mL total, you would have 2% BA and 12% BB.

If I wanted to have only 50ml of final solution, then

2% BA = 1ml
12%BB= 6ml

and 43ml of oil

Is this right?
