  • Methyl-1 and gyno

I took methyl-1 test twice for 2 weeks , last cycle in jan. Wondering if there is a chance this stuff could cause gyno. I have puffy nipples ive noticed no lumps that i can tell. But the puffyness i hhavent had before. I have gained about 15 pounds could this just be from gaining weight or just fat or the or a bit of gyno. And what can i do to help it or prevent it from gettin worse? I see the anti estrogen stuff im not quite up to speed with all that. The bottle i took said it does not convert to estrogen. I'm clueless at this point help needed.

It's hard to determine such things in an online forum without knowing bodyfat % or other stuff. Being that it's now almost June and your last cycle was in January, it's unlikely. It could just be water gain showing or fat. Likewise, if they're pretty sensitive to touch it could be the start of gyno but since you've been off cycle for so long I doubt it. You need to always have anti-E's available BEFORE you do any cycle. M1T might not convert to estrogen but your body will raise its natural estrogen production to achieve a state of equilibrium. I haven't heard of anyone getting gyno on M1T but that certainly doesn't mean it can't happen. Get some Tamoxifen Citrate (nolvadex) before your next cycle. Our board sponsors can provide this for you.

I'm not attacking you bro but you need to read up on stuff before you take anything into your body. Always know the potential for side effects and how to recognize them. Set attainable goals and learn how to achieve the desired results but especially read up on post-cycle therapy (PCT) to keep gyno at bay, retain your hard earned gains, and bring about a speedy recovery to your natural test production. Read, read, read!

I know this is an old thread but this was linked from another thread and I wanted to give my 2c worth.

I don't understand or agree with this statement. Ok so someone is taking M1T, M1T doesn't convert to estrogen, and M1T is androgenic and will suppress natural Test production so Test isn't aromatizing either. Now don't get me wrong M1T could cause gyno but not while on a M1T only cycle but post-cycle. This isn't because of the hormone but because of the havoc that this compound causes on your liver, it's the same cause that alcoholics suffer from when they get alcoholism induced gyno. It's been years since I've read the studies and I have no links but here it goes from memory. You beat up your liver and you end up with highly elevated liver values and all that is associated with that and you also end up with an extreme zinc deficiency. Now a lack of zinc in your liver leads to a major up-regulation of aromatase. If you are gyno prone this increase of amomatase activity when your natural test production comes back can be enough for you to start developing gyno.

In addition to nolva I'd take some ZMA.

I have seen a ton of posts on another board where many users were getting gyno from just m1t cycles alone. They weren't even stacking in 4ad or test. How, I don't know, but I had a post on here before where I was figuring it was progesterone gyno but spidey had studies that showed it couldn't be that and it was something else causing the gyno.
