There are many smart people on this board - and although I don't post here too often, I'm glad to help out when I see a question that I think I can add some value to. I think most others do the same - namely, help when they can.
My best advice is to read and learn all you can from those who've been there and done what it is you seek to do. That, plus do your own research, the internet is loaded with good info (pubmed, NLM, and many of online medical journals.)
Oh and don't forget to ask good questions,
