  • In Congress right now, substance to be classified as an anabolic

Here is the current bill dehydroepiandrosterone to become an anabolic steroid

It's DHEA, if you didn't know.
    Any thoughts?

lol....scares me how retarded our elected officials are if they think it is a roid, lol. But I am sure they just have some slick snake whispering in their ear what to make legal or illegal for however much money they can get for it.

I was just at GNC the other day picking up vitamins when I saw it sitting on the shelf. I looked at my wife and said "This hasn't made it to the list of steroids yet. Give it a year and it will be there."

I think it will get a little more resistance than the others for the simple fact that several senators use it for anti-aging purposes. I know Orrin Hatch does.

Yea, I thought they already excluded it from the bill the first time because of that. And if they do put it on the bill, what will happen to it's metabolite derivatives like 7-oxo?

I doubt that would stop the legislation because then DHEA would still be available under prescription, so it would still be readily available to him and others plus, Congress has the best medical coverage plan in the nation- we pay for it!

You see, the big pharms practically own Congress now and just like other supplements (ephedhra), if you take a decent product out of the hands of supp manufacturers and put it in the hands of "prescription medicine" companies, the product is somehow safer. Well, that and the fact that the big pharms eliminate the little guy, take their marketshare, raise the cost of the exact same product formula by 60% and make even more money on government mandated prescription rates for most people on prescription plans. Big money! I guess if you want to save money on stuff like weight loss or anti-aging type stuff you don't need to spend on medical research anymore, you just steal it from others using payoffs and public propaganda as your weapons of choice.
