Alrite. I use to extremely underweight, but after using creatine monohydrate, nlarge 2, l-gutamine, and whey. I have uped my weight to normal. But I seem to be hitting this barrier where I cant gain anymore weight. I'm thinking about going anabolic. but I have no clue where/what to start with. Any suggestions. Don't want no gyno happening.

    Thanks

When you say, "going anabolic" I assume you mean going on steroids. Anabolic simply means muscle building so saying "going anabolic" dosent make much sence.

Also, I see you talk alot about suppliments and you give them the credit in getting your weight up but you dont mention your diet at all.

Food is by far the number 1 importance in gaining weight and muscle. You need to eat to get big bro.

What is your diet like? How many meals a day are you eating?

Stick around the board and read bro. Read all you can and learn as much as you can. Knowledge is power.

What he said. Even if you start a cycle your gains will be limited if you don't have your diet right. Have you tried increasing calories (good fats, carbs, protein)? Have you tried adjusting your routine to shock the muscles? Are you overtraining? These are all things you need to check before you start a cycle. Definitely read before doing anything.

Here's the best anabolic starter cycle,
                    500 grams of protein
                    400 grams of carbs
                    50-75 grams of fat
                    A Day!

                      A Day!
                      more like this.
200-300g of protein a day (depending on weight)
350-600g of carbs (depending on goals)
                      75-100g of GOOD fats
assuming you want to gain as much possible
                      plus 3000-5000calories (depending on goals)
anything above 300g of protein is over kill and when you really need it, your body wont respond. Also make sure to consume food every 2-3hrs and also make sure to balance your intake of protein throughout the day. Sidius or whatever your name is, make sure to write out your diet for us. Then we can really help you out and your stats and age bro.

Rock you have your thoughts I have mine. I believe if you want to grow you need at least 2 grams of protien per body pound. (most pro BB eat this plus more) Thats what I have had the best luck with. I am currently eating 1.5 grams per lb for muscle maintenance.

IMO, 500gms protein is overkill for nearly everybody on this board. That would mean that you should have a minimum of 250lbs lbm! Even then I think 2gms protein/lb lbm is a little high for normal diet.

Also, the number of gms of protein, carbs and fat are going to be different for every individual depending on their bmr. It's impossible to simply throw out macronutrient numbers without knowing a persons bmr, training routine, etc.

For someone that is just starting out and are not on anything 2 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight is way to much. They will get nothing out of that but alot of gas and bloat. For me and you that is fine but not for someone just starting.

I didn't realize the kid was just starting out. I thought he hit a sticking point and he was considering using. I need to start really thinking about what I say. What I was trying to tell the kid is start eating right, get on a good a diet before you consider using roids. I guess people take everything here literally. I am starting to realize that there are couple above average athletes here and for the most part its younger guys coming for advice. I am going to start taking this into consideration. From now on I will not try to over emphasize my statements but I'll be more precise.
