  • New T-3 medication?

Has anyone heard of or had any experience of a thyroid medication called "Armour"? it's supposed to contain t-3, t-4 and two other thyroid meds that work very well in combination. I read a short article on this med in a chatroom a few weeks ago. Is this med made domestically?..how effective is it?
    Thanks

Its actually a synthetic t4. Based on the structure of Synthroid. I would not recommend it for anabolic use, as it is still expensive.

For what it's worth.....I'm on levothroid @ 150 mcg per day (a tad bit low, I think, according to my bloodwork), which is not unlike synthroid or levothyroxine. I use it for legitimate medical reasons however and it is relatively cheap @ $10. a month for 30 pills without prescription insurance coverage. Unless you're competing, it is probably not a very good idea to mess with one's thyroid levels because once they get out of whack they take a long time to normalize. Also, too high of a dose can cause heart palpitations and other more serious health problems. Be careful with this stuff!
